On a recent trip to Chiang Mai, David had his hair cut and the barber (Miss Goi) really did cut his beard VERY short. He was rather stunned when he first looked in the mirror (and showed his face to Janet, waiting outside the curtain). He thinks that the shorter beard makes him look younger (if greyer....).
