After visiting Ayuthya and Bang Pa In, we returned to Bangkok on a cruise ship, enjoying a fine lunch onboard. As always, the scenes of life on the river were fascinating.

This gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "low bridge ahead." I had to duck down to avoid having my head torn off (the river was high from late-season rains).

During lunch onboard we met two interesting ladies, one from Penang, Malaysia and the other from London; one took our picture.
