While prowling around on Google searches we discovered a couple of bird-watching experts living near our on-campus home: Mick from England has lived in Thailand for some 8 years, staying here once he met Doaruang. The four of us saw some great birds at Chiang Saen Lake and the adjacent Yonok wetlands, and also along the Mekong River. We are planning some further bird-based adventures in the weeks ahead.
