We had a fabulous three days at one of the world's most beautiful
beaches, in the Andaman Sea near Krabi town and airport. You reach the
beach by long-tail boat (10-minute ride); even though it's a cape
rather than an island, there is NO road access.
The sand is
soft and golden, the water is warm, and the limestone (karst) cliffs
shoot up like the granite walls of Yosemite Valley. We went swimming
and again and again...and did a kayak paddle to some offshore cliffs
(islands) and a separate beach as well. |
